Join Eden Project for a ‘wonder’ through Dundee Botanic Garden, taking a creative journey to imagine a near future, Dundee in 2040. Together, we’ll explore the idea of creating a “time capsule for the future” — preserving what we cherish and feeling a sense of nostalgia for the future.

During our walk through the gardens, we’ll pause to closely observe nature and consider what we would want to protect, preserve, or grow in Dundee’s future. What would you place in a time capsule? What message would you send forward? What would you hope still exists? What would you want to remind yourself or others of?

After the walk, we’ll get hands-on and learn how to create a Zine in a creative session led by one of Dundee University’s Regnr8-i PhDs. Participants will transform their reflections, hopes, and future memories into their own zines.

The finished zines will be printed and distributed around libraries in Dundee. An artist will also join us to capture group ideas and create a shared zine inspired by everyone’s future visions.
