Join Uppertunity for a morning of hands-on gardening that’s good for you and the planet. As part of Climate Action Week, Uppertunity is opening our beautiful community garden for a volunteering session focused on climate-friendly growing. You’ll learn practical skills in managing our nature and history trail, including weeding, planting, and maintaining spaces for biodiversity. We’ll explore how small actions in gardening can make a big difference to the environment, from soil health to planting for pollinators.

No experience is needed, just bring your curiosity, enthusiasm, and weather-appropriate clothing. This is a welcoming and supportive space where everyone is valued, whether you’re looking to meet new people, learn something new, or simply spend time outdoors.

By taking part, you’ll not only help care for our community trail and garden, but you’ll also gain inspiration and tips to use at home or in your community. Together, we can build a greener, healthier future, one small action at a time.
